I'm a big fan of Ace Hardware stores, and this one is above and beyond a good one! Parking isn't great, but it's worth circling the block a couple of times because the service you get here is fantastic. They're always really helpful and they do a great job at keeping things in stock.

We're so fortunate to have this place in the neighborhood! They have an awesome selection, including some stuff at the front that could easily serve as housewarming gifts. I always come out of here with many more items than were on my list! The staff is not only super helpful, but they are also really nice. They have taught me things when learning of my current project in a way that is informative and not condescending. Also, if they recommend something that is not currently in stock, in my experience, they have offered to order it for you. 3rd St Hardware is a great place!

I stopped in today to just look around then realized I needed lightbulbs! I asked the employee some questions and they helped me find the right ones. The employee was super friendly and knowledgeable. The best part is my lighting issue truly was old lightbulbs and not an electrical issue!

I was able to find several items I needed with help from the friendly knowledgeable staff. This is the neatest,cleanest well organized hardware store I have ever been in. Keep up the good work!

I was riding my bike and my pedal broke. I saw there was a certain bolt/screw missing. The young man at the ACE store came out to assess my bike and then found the exact part it needed and fixed the pedal for me. He was so nice and helpful!! thank you very much.

Imagine walking into a hardware or improvement store and always having assistance and knowledge immediately available instead of wondering around and hoping someone will not only help you but know what they are talking about. That’s exactly what Blaise and the team at 3rd St Hardware serve up every time we are in a pinch to complete a project or need suggestions on how to tackle a new one. Since joining the neighborhood, we have been so grateful this shop exists and we aren’t relegated to only a big-box experience. Thank you Blaise and everyone at 3rd St Hardware!

This is definitely not your typical hardware store.. although it does for into the neighborhood quite well. The music is great, mostly indie rock, and the staff is very mellow. The selection is surprisingly good considering the size, and they have a lot of fun knick knacks. The prices are a little high, but that's to be expected for the neighborhood and quality.

This is an excellent local hardware store! It's not huge but they pack a lot into the space they have... I almost always find what I need. The staff are great! They're friendly and know their hardware. I've had questions answerd and recommendations given that saved me a lot of extra work. Thanks!

It’s funny how our Old City Ace hardware store is as welcoming, charming, and beloved to our community as the little mom and pop store on the corner where I grew up. The staff brings the magic!
